Frequently Asked Questions

Please reach us at admin@reliox.com if you cannot find an answer to your question.

Our patented method can be integrated into devices to bring the chlorine dioxide immediately to the application. Anywhere the effects of chlorine dioxide are desired RelīOx technology can provide a solution for real time chlorine dioxide production. From 2 ounce spray bottles to wall mounted volume production our method delivers consistent and safe chlorine dioxide. The technology also lends itself to being integrated with delivery systems of all types such as misters, sprayers, diffusers, air handling systems, cold foggers, drip systems and many types of other spray devices.

Examples of products using our technology can be found at WhiffUSA.com and VetiOx.com and   Clear Path HTC .

Yes. Our technology is compatible with additives to create foams, cleansers and disinfectants of many kinds. These additives are manufactured by third parties and the combinations of these products with RelīOx technology are proprietary formulations of those manufacturers.

Yes, it is extremely safe for humans, animals and the environment.

Yes, however take care to not over apply the product on sensitive areas where you would not normally spray a water-based product.

No. Chlorine dioxide inactivates or oxidizes other chemicals. There are zero harsh chemicals or odors left behind to effect humans, animals or the environment.

Yes! RelīOx technology adheres to all of the 12 principles of a green chemistry and is extremely safe for the environment, humans and animals.

No.  There are many types of chemicals and compounds that contain the name chlorine. Table salt is chemically called Sodium Chloride (NaCl). Pool chlorine is Sodium Hypochlorite or Hypochlorous Acid. We do not use these versions of chlorine. Chlorine dioxide (ClO2) is not chlorine as many people understand chlorine to be defined. In chlorine dioxide it is the ability of the molecule to capture 5 electrons that does the work, not the chlorine. This is why it is considered a “pristine” molecule, it never gives up its chlorine.

Yes! We currently have six U.S. patents on this and additional chlorine dioxide technologies. See details here   IP & Licensing .
